NMGC, the safety of your child is our top
priority. All of our instructors are safety-certified by
USA
Gymnastics and maintain rigorous safety standards at all
times. In addition to creating a safe environment, we also
promote an atmosphere of team work, dedication and
self-discipline. Our skilled staff is committed to helping
your child be a success as both an athlete and individual.
Year round we
offer tailored class and team gymnastics instruction for
boys and girls; from pre-school to high school, and beginner
to advanced. Our new cheerleading program is designed
for girls with beginning to intermediate skills and the
tramp and tumbling program is a great combination of
instruction and fun.

North Metro Gymnastics
Center Summer Camp
Offers each camper a fabulous Cruise on the SSS Metro.
This trip boasts a 7-Sport, 7-Country, 7-Week, nonstop
fun filled cruise. Be sure to register with our
official Cruise Director, Ms. Marie. All forms are
to be returned to the North Metro front counter.
2010 North Metro Cheerleading Camp
NCA instructors and College cheerleaders from the southeast
will bring you NEW cheers, NEW chants, NEW dances, stunts, &
jumps. Our professional and elite instructors have been
extensively trained by NCA.

Our 14,000 Square Foot
facility was designed to maximize safety and training.
Our trampoline, tumble track, spring strip, foam, and resi
pits are all in-ground. Our equipment is "state-of-the-art"
and includes five (5) high and four(4) low beams, three (3)
sets of uneven bars, three (3) single rail bars, two (2)
vault tables, rings, pommel horse, parallel bars,
competition tumbling floor, and so much more. |

 Nervous before your first meet???
It's
perfectly natural to be nervous at meets; almost all
gymnasts have feelings of nervousness and anticipation
while preparing for competition. Even some of the best
gymnasts in the world feel pressure to do well from
their coaches, their friends and family, and, most
often, from themselves. Anticipation is a natural
response to pressure. And most of the time, it's a sign
that you're ready.
Remember, meets are
supposed to be fun. If you have a problem getting
yourself to relax at a meet, you need to get a handle on
your nerves before they get a handle on you.
Try some of the following tips:

Work
out hard at practice. The better you know the skills
you need to do, the less you need to worry about
doing them at the meet.

Get a
good night's sleep the night before an event.
Take deep breaths.
-
Don't
hold back. Confidence = success!

Smile!

Cheer Program
IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER!
The North Metro Storm Cheer
program cheers under the guidelines of USASF ( United States
All Stars Federation). Competition rules and guidelines are
designed by the USASF and categorized by Levels. USASF
classifies level 1-6, Level 1 being the most beginner level
and Level 6 being the most advanced level. North Metro Storm
sports 2 Squads. The first Squad is our Junior “Twisters”
Squad and our Senior “Extreme” Squad.
Anyone interest in joining either the Junior or Senior Squad

Introducing NMGC’s new:
PEE WEE
Cheer Class
This class is a
Pre-competitive squad which will learn
cheers, chants, dance and tumbling. It is designed to teach
young cheerleaders the steps to competition. Our goal is for
these girls to move onto our competitive squad in the near
future.
Ages 4 & up
Registration fee: $25.00 ( Cheer Shirt & Skort )
Fall Class: Begin August 3, 2009
Tuition $85.00 Tuesdays 4:30 - 6:00 pm
